| This is just WAY
TOO OBVIOUS. (LOL) To put it simply, this game is the reason
why I bought the PlayStation2 and this web server. It is also
the only game that I've played again and again over 15 times
from start to end, and which I spent a total of over 250 hours
on (including the original DMC3). It's practically a short game,
but DMC3 is impressively one of the only games that actually
offers unlimited ways and styles to play the game in a non-repetitive
manner. The cutscenes in DMC3 is also one of the other biggest
improvements from its prequels. Fantastic cinematography, action
and drama combine to give you the greatest movie experience
in this series today. |

| My very first shooter
and 'horror' game. This is the reason I first subscribed to
Gamefly. I first played it together with a friend and the experience
was just sweet. This game is a 3rd person shooter with
an over-the-shoulder camera angle. Basically, all you do is
walk around and shoot, blast, throw grenades and repeat. It
sounds repetitive, but you'll be surprised at how fun and addictive
that alone is! RE4 is also the only other game other than DMC3
and Crash Bandicoot 3 which I completed everything (99%?) the
game has to offer. On top of that, it has the best mini game
ever, yet, which I think really is 70% of the game's replay
value. |

| An action-RPG, it
says, but really, it's 70% hack & slash. The only thing
that's RPG-ish is the use of magic. Great graphics, nice story
(and great improvement from KH1), fun gameplay, good battle
music. For some reason, mashing and alternating between 2 buttons
in this game give me so much enjoyment. I remember how excited
and delighted I was when I got to play this game (JPN ver.)
and that mood kept going on until the very end. Although it
has low replay value, it is a very pleasant and amusing game
in the overall. |

| I played MGS3 Subsistence first before MGS2, but after having played MGS2,
I realized that I like MGS2's gameplay more than MGS3, hence the reason it's now up on
this list replacing MGS3. As a fangirl, a character like Raiden is always a welcome,
but he's not the reason I favor MGS2 over MGS3. However, I must admit
that he is often ridiculously silly to the point of being funny, hence adds even
more points to the game's already high humor factor.
MGS2 is also friendly towards newbies to the series and is in the
overall a highly and refreshingly pleasant and enjoyable game for all to play. |

| I first got Guitar Hero 1 through Gamefly cos' my forum people keep raving about it. Curious to find out how really good it is, I burnt a copy for myself and played it, with the PS2 controller. There was no way I would spend extra money on a controller made specifically for this game, but even then, the game proved addictive. When Guitar Hero 2 came out, I got even crazier about the game. It's got a dozen or so more songs, all better than the previous game, and it got me hooked again quickly. Depending on how much you love this game, it also has very high replay value. Right now, I'm proud of being able to play this game on BOTH the PS2 controller and the guitar (righty & lefty). As far as I'm concerned, I'm the only one I know who can do that. |

| THIS is my very
first RPG game ever. It is the one game that made me
start playing any RPG at all. Suikoden II is a classic 2D RPG
with cute chibi graphics and a touching story, considering you
get the best ending. It also has a 2nd battle system that is
tactical-strategy based. There are a number of fun mini games
and optional side quests that you wouldn't want to miss. And,
music is awesome - this is the only RPG that I had
and will ever buy the actual soundtrack for. I have some of
the greatest memories with this game, hence it will always
be top 10. |

| King of Fighters
was practically my life for years through
the end of elementary to secondary school. It was first introduced
to me by my younger cousin when I was 11. I first got addicted
to the characters, but soon after I was all into the game. I
would risk getting punished and sneak out to the arcade as often
as I can just to train and play, spending 90+% of my allowance.
To me, this game has better graphics than the classic 2D Street
Fighter. It also has a way more interesting gameplay
and dozens more characters of my type. LOL. And since this game
comes out with a new version every year, there is always something
to look forward to, and something new to try out. I started
with KOF 96, and KOF 2000 was the peak of it all. |

Practically my first 3D platformer, this game holds a LOT of my childhood memories,
bringing me the sweetest of nostalgia everytime I even think of it. I remember having TONS
of fun playing it, trying to perfect certain things or collect as many crystals (side quests)
as possible. I was 17 when I finally beat the game a 100%, and that stays as one of
my biggest game accomplishments even to this day. Great graphics, great platformign and
family-loving atmosphere, Crash Bandicoot 3 is the only game my parents would watch
me play at all. That alone proves to be very miraculous.

| God Hand is the ONLY other game other than DMC3 that motivated me to make a game fansite for it. The biggest reason behind it is due to the fact that God Hand is way underappreciated, even though it's such a wacky and entertaining genius of a game. In terms of overall quality, God Hand is of course not better than games like Metal Gear Solid and Devil May Cry, but this should not matter. What God Hand strives to bring you is nothing but nonstop brawl and fist-to-fist action along with humor, which is precisely what the game is perfect at. I can only wish for this baby to be appreciated for its true worth. |

FF8 has a very high nostalgia factor to me. I played FF7 even earlier and way more times than FF8 but in
the end something in FF8 still pulled through. One huge reason is the fact that I recently replayed
it all over (June 2007) and looking back at it I realized how great it was. I like the battle system
despite some tedious repetition (the 'drawing' system) and the game makes me laugh even though the lines
are all text and the
scenes aren't cinematic. It reminds me of how RPGs have changed so much, and that even then the
classic ones remain the best. Also, FF8 has practically the best soundtrack of any FF
game I've played, in my opinion. The music greatly affects how I look at the game and its cinematic
cutscenes and despite its imperfect story and other flaws, it's still one of the best few RPGs I've ever played. |
